I'd just like to say I JUST woke up and my eyes are kinda bleary...I read the quote as, "with a sort of metal squid". Not sure what a metal squid would be like!
I love it!!!! . As a photographer, it's something I do naturally. But now as a writer, I'm paying attention to all things sensory. Great post, Lisa.
