Thirty Word Thursday...plus a few more :D With Lisa Amowitz

When you are describing,
A shape, or sound, or tint;
Don't state the matter plainly,
But put it in a hint;
And learn to look at all things,
With a sort of mental squint.
~Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (Lewis Carroll)

I'd just like to say I JUST woke up and my eyes are kinda bleary...I read the quote as, "with a sort of metal squid". Not sure what a metal squid would be like!

I love it!!!! . As a photographer, it's something I do naturally. But now as a writer, I'm paying attention to all things sensory.

Great post, Lisa.
