Whoah! And ain't that the truth! LOL. When I wrote my first novel, and gave it to my mother to read (the mother in my ms was SOOOO based on my mother), my mother said, "I'm not sure I like the mother character." hehehe. I said in return, "Don't worry, she becomes nicer as the book goes on."

A writer's life is not as reassuring as... let's say a nurse or a teacher. (full time, steady income, health benefits) I totally get this quote!
