Emotionally Intense Friday Funnies

First of all, the very talented and all around fabulous person, Cole Gibsen, is guest posting over on Matthew Rush's blog,The Quintessentially Questionable Query Experiment,
today. Head on over and take a peek at the query that got Cole an agent! Thanks for the reminder, Matthew! :)
And now, on to our Friday Funnies!

Shirley Hazzard on the occupational hazards of writing:

It's nervous work. The state you need to write in is the state that others are paying large sums to get rid of.

The only reason for being a professional writer is that you just can't help it.

~ Leo Rosten

Thank you, Christine, for stopping by this week and sharing your thoughts about emotional intensity. It has been very interesting and I had a blast!

Thanks for sharing Michelle, great photos and thoughts.

Have you ever seen that fmaous chain email called "Cats in a Record Store"? If not send me an email and I'll send it to ya.

Shameless promotion:

I have an awesome guest post today on my blog by Cole Gibsen.

This one is pure query/submission gold folks in which she shares the ACTUAL query that landed her an agent and the correspondence that ensued.

Please stop by to read, comment and follow.

Oh those pictures are too funny! I was laughing so hard I started coughing and couldn't stop. (Okay, obviously I did in the end otherwise I couldn't have typed this!)

Have a great weekend, Michelle!

Love the kitty photos! My cat is OCD too. When the left side of her feeding dish is empty, she won't eat out of the right side. She'll meow at me until I pour more food into the left side. WHATEVER!
