I'm not sure I inderstand what Rita means by that ... but interesting quote, thanks for sharing Michelle.
So true. My mother has been blessed with two of us. Ha!
A writer's life is not as reassuring as... let's say a nurse or a teacher. (full time, steady income, health benefits) I totally get this quote!
...or your husband. ;)
...or your father. At least I've got the husband one covered. Gosh I love him.
I love this! Definitely made me laugh and remind you to follow your passion!
Love it! My mom, whom we lost just before Thanksgiving, was always a bit afraid to read my pubbed books. I think she was afraid what she might find there!
LOL! I love it! :-)
Ha, ha! Where do you get these from? Love it!!!
haa ha this is good. Though it's more of my father who needs reassuring... Well, mum's not far behind ;)
This is great!
Whoah! And ain't that the truth! LOL. When I wrote my first novel, and gave it to my mother to read (the mother in my ms was SOOOO based on my mother), my mother said, "I'm not sure I like the mother character." hehehe. I said in return, "Don't worry, she becomes nicer as the book goes on."
What a wallop of a quote! Meaningful and a warning in one. ;)
Ha! Love this one :D
