To Trust a Thief Release Day Treasure Hunt!!

It’s finally here!! To Trust a Thief releases TODAY!

Well, this is something that must absolutely be celebrated :) And since To Trust a Thief centers around the search for a priceless necklace, I figured what could be more fun than having a treasure hunt of our own to celebrate!

Here’s the rundown – from Jan 21st to Feb 1st, you can join me in a treasure hunt for five fabulous prizes. I’ll be making the rounds on four wonderful blogs and will leave a clue at each one. The clue will give you a hint both as to what the prize is, and where you need to go on our To Trust a Thief treasure map to enter the giveaway for that day. You’ll also get a few snippets of the book and a chance for extra entries if you solve a special riddle.

And our journey begins right here :) Follow these instructions and see if you can find the treasure!

Step 1 – Here is your clue for Day 1: In front of the bookstore, they felt the first spark. To keep their place, they’ll need a mark.

Step 2 – CLICK HERE to go to the treasure map.

Step 3 – Once there, click on the location on the map that matches the clue.

Step 4 – Fill in the form to enter to win the prize and read a little snippet of the book just for fun!

Step 5 – Be sure to visit the other blogs on our Treasure Hunt Tour for more chances to win other awesome prizes, especially the huge grand prize on day 5!! Each giveaway will run for a week, so you can go back and enter any that you missed.

Here are the Treasure Hunt blog stops:

Day 1 - Monday Jan 21st – My Blog
Day 2 - Tuesday, January 22 -- Romance Junkies
Day 3 - Wednesday, January 23 -- Cocktails and Books
Day 4 - Thursday, January 24 -- Romance Book Junkies
Day 5 - Friday, January 25 -- Romance Reviews Today

Have fun hunting!! And good luck finding your treasures :)

Extra Entries Clue = There will be an opportunity for extra entries if you can figure out the riddle of the villainous Lord Rellik's name. The clue will be listed on the entry form, but I'll list it here as well to give you a little more thinking time.

There is something sinister about Rellik’s name; figure it out, get extra points for the game. Here is a hint, if you are in doubt; try reading it backwards, it might help you out.

(Today's treasure = a beautiful silver Victorian bookmark! Find the right location on the map to see a picture and enter to win!)

Monday RunDown

Well, it's Monday morning and I'm fighting off a cold...and have every intention of going back to bed as soon as I hit Publish on this post :D So, since my brain is a haze of nothingness at the moment, I thought I'd do a rundown of some important things coming up.

1. Don't forget to head to the Operation Awesome Blog and become a follower for a chance to win 10 of my gently loved books and possibly a $20 gift certificate! Be sure to leave a comment on the post from yesterday either here or at OA. We are already up to 11 new followers which means I'm giving away at least 2 books so far.

2. Since my book release date is creeping ever closer (eep!) annnnd since it comes right after the holidays, I decided I should probably start getting my epic celebrations organized. If you'd be interested in hosting me on my blog tour, please email me at authormichellemclean(at)yahoo(dot)com. I will have swag items and signed copies of books to giveaway along with the interview, guest post, review, or whatever you'd like to do with me :)

3. Vote on the poll listed on the sidebar ---> I want to get an idea of what kinds of prize swag everyone would like to win. We are going to have some fun people, F.U.N.! :D

4. Has anybody read any good books lately? I am actually going to make my 52 Books in 52 Weeks challenge this year (woohooo!) I read more than 52 books last year, but since I reread four or five very long series, I couldn't count those. I'm reading Rick Riordan's The Lost Hero right now and then I'm heading to the bookstore, so I need some suggestions! :D

And now, I must crash :) Have a happy Monday everyone!

Book Lover Contest!!!

1 entry = for referring someone here - make sure they mention your name in their comment!
