You Tell Me...

My mom gave me a little book called You Know You're a Writer When... by Adair Lara. It's HILARIOUS :D Quite a few of the entries will be making appearances in my Friday Funnies :D There was one that got me curious.

If you're not writing, you do something crazy, such as invest in uranium or weave a room-sized tapestry.

I do get into some odd projects sometimes when I'm not writing. I usually go for cross-stitching :D

Tell me - What do you do when you aren't writing?

Play Scrabble on Facebook. It's not crazy, but I play obsessively and it is not as good a use of my time.

Um, I'd say I agonize over the fact that I'm not writing LOL.

Michelle,

lol, I don't think I go crazy when I'm not writing, but I guarantee my mood isn't as good, and perhaps even bitchy, lol.

When I'm not writing, I'm working with the Tarot, editing, or reading (fiction and non-fiction).

I read. I think about my writing. I wonder what it would be like to have another hobby I could do for so little monetary expenditure. But honestly, I'm never not writing. I'm always working on something writing-related. My brain won't sit still for that long where writing is concerned.

Not that I'm saying writing is only a hobby. It's not. Just that the hobbies I do have require more money than writing so it would be nice to have one that required the same monetary commitment as writing.

Quilt, actually, I just cut up fabric and put it in piles and then move on. If you need squares, I have them.
