Thirty-three Word Thursday

We work in the dark — we do what we can — we give what we have. Our doubt is our passion, and our passion is our task. The rest is the madness of art.
— Henry James

(NaNo stats: the cushion has left the building :( I've had a strange few days in which almost nothing has gotten accomplished. Once I tackle Mt. Laundry I will tackle Mt. Manuscript. I will conquer both clothes and word count if it kills me - huzzah!)

p.s. I hope the rest of you are doing better. Give me some motivation, spark that competitive streak - give me some word counts :D Who is whipping NaNo's tail!?

Let your mind relax while you conquer Mt. Laundry. Everything will start too flow with the cycles and you'll be on your way to 50K!

Ok, so I'm not doing NaNo this year. I'm actually revising, but I know you can do it! Set some elves to work on Mt. Laundry and dive into Mt. Manuscript! Or better yet, forget about it! Actually, my daughter just came to me last night and said, "Mom, I'm out of underwear, I'm gonna have to wear yours." So, yeah, maybe tackle that laundry first. But hit that word count ASAP ;)

I have 60747 words for NaNo and I won't be writing anymore because I am finished!!

It's time to move on to school stuff.

Keep working at it. You can still do it.

I passed 8K! Woohoo! Does that make you feel better about your awesome word count? I hope so! I tackled Mt. Laundry last night and started writing again. Here's to another great night of writing and then beta reading!

You can do it!

Climb every laundry mountain, climb every manuscript mountain! Keep writing! (laundry can wait). (Did I just splice a comma there?!)

I'm almost at 20K. I hope to break it tonight! After I order bookmarks, AND fold my laundry.
