NaNo Stats

Okay, are ya'all ready to be proud of me? :D I actually buckled down yesterday and wrote my little fingers off and managed to pull off.....ready?.....4371 words!!! I'm so excited LOL Potato Man is doing the dance of joy. I can't believe I actually caught up. Hallelujah ;-D

How is everyone else doing? For those not doing NaNo, how are your projects coming along? Or just life in general? :) Anyone doing anything fun this weekend?

Wooohoo, congrats big time! See, I told you that you'd catch up no prob. Nicely done. Me, I'm spending the weekend trying to crank out 7 more pages of a research paper on information security risk assessment. Yeah, incredibly fun. I have to have it done by COB Monday. Keep your fingers crossed for me. :)

Congrats on the word count Michelle. Your creative juices were really flowing.

I'm not participating in Nano this year. I really need to finish my WIP before taking on another project. I'm almost done with the first chapter of my second draft. It only took about ten re-writes. I had to scrap two weeks worth of work because I started with too much back story. How frustrating... It was worth it, now I have a decent start. Best of luck with Nano...Keep up the good work.

Woot! I'm so proud of you!

I did what you did. Up until 2am, I pulled in 6k over what I had when I started yesterday. I'm at 15,500, and knee-deep in a way-more-complex than I expected plot. I think I may run into trouble around 40k words, but hey! At least I've got the wordage! ;)

I plan to get caught up by the end of the weekend.

p.s. I love your happy dancing potato!

Wow, way to go! I'm not a NaNo-er this year, but I'm pretty impressed by all you go-getters! Nice job. :)

Congrats on catching up!

I'm at 21,700 words or so. I can usually write the required number of words each day to stay on pace, but between work and my family, I haven't managed a big word count like that. (Last Sunday I did write between 2300-2400 words.) I'm on vacation this week, so I want to increase my daily word count.
