QuoteTuesday with KM Weiland

Allowing our impatience, frustration, and artistic insecurities to convince us we’re wasting our time is far too tempting an escape. But don’t give in. Don’t abandon a story just because it isn’t working. Stories never work in the first draft.

Great quote. Sometimes writers need to be reminded that it's only the FIRST draft, and it will take many more to turn our story into something we can be proud of

@Christine: Yep, just for you. ;)

Good luck in the drawing, everyone!

Excellent advice, since first drafts can be extremely frustrating.

@Meghan: I think it's something we all need to be reminded of, no matter how many stories we've written. It's something I keep remind myself as I'm working on my current first draft!
